Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom

#97 on Glenn's Top 100 Movie List

Look, I gotta say, this is way better than Last Crusade, and if you disagree then you're deluding yourself. Last Crusade is just a copy of Raiders with Sean Connery. This has chilled monkey brains and non stop action. What more can you want? PS - There are zero Sean Connery movies on my top 100 list.

RATING: 86%

No Sean Connery films! This list is bogus.

Seriously, there would be no James Bond franchise without Dr. No, Thunderball, and Goldfinger. Also, I doubt the Highlander series would have been able to spawn two television series without Mr. Connery's role in the films. He also added believability to The Untouchables as the hardened, no nonsense character of Jim Malone.

And while I'm partial to his role in the Disney great, Darby O'Gil and the Little People, he rocked The Hill. The tagline from The Hill is "They went up like men! They came down like animals!" This is one tuff flick. See it and then revise your list.

I'll check out the Hill. It's not that I don't like Sean Connery, it's just that nothing he did ever made the final cut. I'm not such a big fan of the Connery Bond anyway. I like Dalton.

My favorite Bond film was On Her Majesty's Secret Service with George Lazenby and Diana Rigg, and I like Dalton (love Flash Gordon). His films weren't quite up to Bond standards in terms of story and villians, but Roger's Moore's were pretty far out there as well.

I caught The Hill by accident on TCM, and it blew me away. There is also a young Ossie Davis in it. Not bad, himself.

I figured Dragonheart and Entrapment were shoe-ins for your top 10. This changes everything.
